Food Truck Operator Job at JONNY BOY COOKIES
Jonny Boy Cookies is looking for full time and part time food truck bakers to join our Savannah team! We are located at Starland Yard at 2411 De Soto Ave in Savannah, GA and currently operate from our food truck there 7 days a week. We will have a permanent location at Starland Yard soon and will be offering morning shifts as well! Until then, we operate during Starland hours:
Monday-Wednesday 5pm-10pm
Thursday-Saturday 12pm-10pm
Sunday 12pm-9pm

We are looking for an upbeat and committed Food Truck Baker to join our team. You will be responsible for baking cookies, serving customers, and cleaning the truck. Starland Yard is a local favorite in Savannah and a very fun atmosphere to work in! Food Truck Bakers are required to work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to lift up to 50lbs. You will work most shifts solo so we are looking for someone who is self motivated and confident working autonomously, but not afraid to ask questions!
Responsibilities:
Operate a Toast POS.
Properly bake and serve cookies.
Prepare hot and cold specialty beverages including espresso.
Provide excellent customer service.
Maintain proper sanitation and food safety requirements.
Inventory cookie dough and supplies.
Properly clean all surfaces and equipment in food truck.
Take out the trash.
Wash pans and spatulas.

Qualifications
Baking experience is not required. Customer service and sales experience are musts, preferably in the food industry, but not required. Background checks are required for all potential candidates.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $15.00 - $18.00/hour.
