CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time/Non-Exempt
SALARY RANGE: $15-$17/hr

GENERAL FUNCTION
:
The Utility Staff is responsible for washing pots, pans, flatware, glasses, and miscellaneous equipment used in the preparation of meals. The Utility Staff is also responsible for the general cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding grounds. This position also assists with processing orders, general food preparation and Dining Room cleaning.
KNOW HOW:
Basic reading and writing skills required with the ability to follow directions. The dishwasher needs to be able to operate mechanized equipment.
PRINCIPLE ACTIVITIES:
- Washing and Sanitation of all pots, pans, equipment, flatware, glasses, and food service related wares.
- Cleanliness, organization & sanitation of the dish room and pot sink surfaces, equipment, & floors.
- General cleaning and maintenance of the Dining Hall, Kitchen, Loading Dock and surrounding areas from our daily cleaning scheduling.
- Participation in Staff Meetings and any tasks related to providing excellent customer service to our guests.
- Being a member of a TEAM focused workplace.
- Maintaining good personal hygiene and personal sanitation.
