Job Summary

The Bar Back will assist in cleaning the bar, preparing garnishes, ensuring the bar is well stocked with napkins, straws, garnishes, and all other necessities, and taking on other duties to support the Bartender and ensure that the bar operates smoothly. The person in this role is knowledgeable about menu items, attentive, and focused on providing the best possible service in a fast-paced environment. The Bar Back is efficient, reliable, and perceptive with excellent communication and time management skills.

• Assisting with opening and closing duties, such restocking the bar with garnishes, straws, and napkins.

• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of all service areas in accordance with departmental procedures.
• Work quickly and safely at all times.
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Actively participates in Safety Programs and abides by all injury reporting and safety behavior requirements.
• Perform other duties as directed, developed or assigned.

Ideal Skills and Experience

• Use standard bar equipment and supplies, including: appliances, tools, and food/beverages
• Relocate up to (25) pounds
• Proficient alcohol knowledge
• Availability to work various shifts, including weekends

• Must be 21 years of age

Requirements: Must have a current/valid food handlers and RBS certification
