Food Science Technician (Halal)
Up to $70,000 to start plus full benefits
As Food Science Technician, your job duties and responsibilities will include:
- Obtaining complete training
- Helping companies with Halal Certification processes
- Certifying that company plants and products meet accreditation standards
- Reviewing company applications and supporting documents
- Inspecting raw materials, ingredients, products and labeling
- Applying Halal standards and requirements
- Facilitating requests for additional information as necessary
- Running reports and making recommendations
- Collaborating with the Quality Manager
- Contributing to strategic planning and continuous improvement efforts
- Managing special projects and handling other duties as assigned
An ideal candidate profile will include:
- Knowledge of Halal Food
- Food Science experience
