New Albany Country Club is now accepting resumes for a Food & Beverage Manager Tournant / Beverage Manager

The Manager Tournant assists in leading all Club F&B Outlets during their peak seasons and supports the fellow managers in their absence (short and long term) and the Club Director as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Act as one of the primary managers for dining outlets during peak seasons as generally defined as Memorial Day through Labor Day,
  • Assist in onboarding the seasonal staff in the Sports Café, Adult Pool Bar Area, and Men's Grill.
  • Act as one of the primary operations managers for the catering department in the final 4-6 weeks of the year with a focus on both on-site and off-site events. Also, acts as a support manager for catering operations as volume and necessary coverage dictates.
  • Act as support/relief Manager in all A la Carte Dining and Clubhouse Satellite Dining operations as volume and necessary coverage dictates.
  • Point person for bar and beverage ordering and inventory (with the exception of wine).
  • Help support and lead service teams for major Club events.
  • Assist other F&B managers with guiding, training, and directing all front-of-house staff, working directly with the corresponding outlet Chef lead as needed.
  • Be knowledgeable on all steps of service for each outlet.
  • Display extended flexibility and be apt to spend extended time in outlets of need.
  • Hold staff accountable and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
  • Be knowledgeable in Club operational systems, POS systems (F&B and Café Retail), requisition, and beverage processes.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a broad knowledge of various Front of House operations and services.
  • Two to Five years of Food & Beverage operations and management preferred.
  • Two years experience in a hospitality, detail-oriented, fast-paced kitchen.
  • Familiar with food safety regulations and hold/obtain current ServeSafe Certification.
  • Familiar with primary medical rescue techniques hold/obtain current AED/CPR certification.

Salary Range: $52,000 – $57,000 commensurate with experience.
