This job could be very IT Hardware and software focused on Cyber security and OS upgrades and maintenance of hardware.​

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

​1. Maintain software/configuration to provide data services in an efficient manner.

2. Preparation of shopfloor software concepts under consideration of existing and in future production use as well as test equipment.

3. Execution of pilot surveys due to internal and external requirements as well as selection and testing of shopfloor software.

4. Maintain latest release of product bill of materials in software systems.

5. Programming and administration of shopfloor software under consideration of the valid Hella security and data protection regulations.

6. Implementation of shopfloor software under consideration of data protection, data security and availability.

7. Monitoring and optimization of the shopfloor system by appropriate system management as well as system performance tools.

8. Train key users and end users in use of application software.

9. Organization and execution of trainings for the system users.

10. Organization and execution of workshops for the integration of shopfloor software together with internal and external partners.

11. Provide technical support to handle questions/problems that end users have running/manipulating software.

12. Identify hardware/software needs and analyze the use of software/hardware to find stress points and repair of failures.

13. Other duties as assigned by management.

14. Must complete the required training plan for Shopfloor Software Specialist (see Training Plan for Technical Services).

15. Strive for continuous improvement in performing job duties and responsibilities.

16. Assure that production is running with the adequate software.

This job is on-site in Flora, IL - No Remote work.

Education, Skills and Experience· Associates Degree in Information Technology. Bachelors' degree is preferred.· Two (2) years' experience in a hands-on hardware/software application environment is preferred.

Must have SQL Database knowledge MSSQL Oracle or Firebird/Interbase is a Plus. Must have good level of experience with one or more of the following: C#,C++, Java, JavaScript, or Delphi programming language. Must be able to work in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per year
