Full Job Description Overview:

The Floor Care Technician will perform a variety of job functions to ensure welcoming, clean and safe environment. May be assigned to different areas to complete routine program and project cleaning. Responsible for the care of all types of floors and other project cleaning as required. This position will support our Janitorial Division as well as our Restoration Division.

Your locations will include: Local accounts (Glens Falls/Hudson Falls/Queensbury) as well as supporting our contract with NYRA (New York Racing Authority) Saratoga Springs, NY.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or 2 years related experience and/or training.
• 2 years floor care experience.
• 2 years residential and/or commercial floor-care experience.
• Familiar with floor care equipment (scrubbers, buffers, carpet cleaners, etc.)
• Additional Special Projects (Duct Cleaning, Light Care, High Dusting and by-request projects)

The responsibilities include: Overall floor maintenance of hard surfaces and carpets in client buildings and facilities. Includes timely completion of floor care areas based on a schedule; proper care of floor machinery; ability to anticipate and recommend floor care needs; and promote a safe work environment.

When floor care is finished you will handle Special Projects at various accounts throughout the year including Duct Cleaning, Light Care, High Dusting and more.

Also will have the ability to work with our Restoration Division on various projects around the community.
