First Cook Job at Stroudsmoor Country Inn
MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ALL WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS
Stroudsmoor Country Inn is looking for a full-time First Cook for our banquet Kitchen. This position requires 3 years culinary experience. This position will report directly to the Head Chef and will be required to assist with all elements of production for the events taking place.
- Ensure consistent high quality culinary output.
- Prepare all foods following established sanitation standards, personal hygiene, and health standards.
- Be in compliance with health inspections and recommendations from the safety committee.
- Store food properly and safely, marking date and item.
- Keep work area neat and clean at all times; clean and maintain equipment used in food preparation.
- Complete food temperature checks.
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure proper Opening/Closing of kitchen.
- Follow all policies and procedures stated in Company Handbook.
- Ensure kitchen staff is wearing proper kitchen attire to include non-skid safety shoes. Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Must have basic knowledge of kitchen equipment.
