Must have Global Navigation Satellite System experience.
Senior Firmware Engineer will support the WiFi and Cell communication layer in GNSS Firmware products.
Responsibilities
- Modify Linux portion of GNSS firmware to support WiFi and Cell services.
- Implement the support at the firmware level of the new cell modems, radios, Bluetooth and WiFi chipsets.
- Perform the testing of implemented changes on-site and remotely (will need to test worldwide with the different cell networks).
- Communicate with the vendors on the technical issues until full resolution.
Qualifications
- 8 years experience with embedded platform design and development.
- 2+ years experience C/C++ , GNU toolchain, Embedded Linux, Linux kernel, TCP/IP stack, WiFi and Bluetooth Linux communication layer, shell scripts, Linux application development
