Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct and supervise all accounting and financial management functions and staff.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial reports for boards, management, regulatory entities, financial firms and other constituents.
  • Prepare corporate revenue, expense, and capital budgets and monitor budget performance. Partner with department directors to monitor management to budget.
  • Manage all accounting and reporting systems.
  • Conduct financial analysis of strategic initiatives, projects, and opportunities.
  • Lead annual audit process.
  • Work with consulting actuary to complete actuarial evaluations and reporting.
  • Oversee billing and prompt collection of revenue. Monitor investment performance and engage with investment managers.
  • Review of financial statements of all prospective residents and applicants to determine financial eligibility for residency
  • Direct a variety of personnel actions to include, but not limited to hiring, performance appraisals, merit recommendations, promotions, transfers, vacation schedules and dismissals

Skills and Experience for Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration with a major in accounting or comparable experience.
  • Five or more years of computerized accounting and financial management experience, preferably in the health care field. Advanced spreadsheet skills and experience creating informational reports.
  • Two years of public accounting experience preferred. Not-for-profit accounting experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a team effectively and serve on executive level teams and projects.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
