POSITION SUMMARY
The Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst contributes to the reporting and analysis of financial results for the Company. We are seeking a self-motivated individual with a strong willingness to learn to join our FP&A team. This role serves a key part in the group’s efforts to provide clear and efficient financial visibility to support decision-making by Senior Leaders. This role delivers key financial reporting for the CFO & Executive Team, Director of FP&A, Finance & Accounting teams and Field Management. The right individual for this role has a passion for excellence, great attention to detail and the ability to develop strong working relationships across the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Create accurate reports, analyses, financial models etc. to examine key needs, variances and opportunities on behalf of management and other internal customers.
  • Manage the Unit reporting process, including communication with field leadership to validate and insure accuracy of field inputs.
  • Prepare accurate sales reporting for external communication by segment, line of business & product.
  • Responsible for tracking & reporting M&A financial results used for key internal/external reporting, forecasts and business objectives and targets.
  • Lead the preparation of key financial information provided to Investor Relations to support Quarterly earnings communication.
  • Deliver to both Executive & Field Leadership teams, housing start and share data across segments, geographies and locations.
  • Support the budgeting process through the management and maintenance of planning system.
  • Responsible for helping gather and analyze financial and statistical data.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects as assigned.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
  • Minimum Degree: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Course of study: Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • Special Requirements: May work beyond normal company hours due to business/customer need.
EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum experience: Minimum 1 year general experience
  • Legal Age Requirements: At least 18 years of age

  • Accounting and reporting - Demonstrates and applies an understanding of basic accounting principles. Understands the role of accounting and its impact on the financial operation. Adheres to appropriate policies, procedures and work instructions as appropriate to role.
  • Analysis and Presentation of Data - Demonstrates ability to take complex data and synthesize it for reporting and analytical purposes. Prepares and communicates analytical reports with objectivity, conciseness, and clarity; verifies and validates source data and conclusions for accuracy and reasonableness.

WORKING LOCATION
This position offers a hybrid schedule. Two (2) - three (3) days onsite in our Daytona Beach office is expected.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work is performed in a typical office environment and may require standing, bending, lifting of boxes or packages under 10 lbs., and sitting for long periods of time.
Work requires regularly inputting/retrieving words or data into or from an automated/computer system.
