Mayvin is seeking a Program Analyst I (Finance) with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic. This role will assist the Management Services Division management and other staff members in all office activities and operations as assigned.

Must undergo a Background Investigation (BI)

Responsibilities:

• Processes financial documents and transactions using the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS)
• Reviews accounting practices to ensure compliance with other Federal laws and regulations (e.g., Single Audit Act), generally accepted Government accounting practices, and relevant Office Management and Budget circulars
• Identifies corrective actions for improper or illegal expenditures and accounting funds
• Reviews and analyzes annual financial statements to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, program policies, and procedures
• Demonstrates proficiency in using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, word processing software, and general knowledge of financial statements

Qualifications:

• Four-year undergraduate degree in business administration
• One year of experience reviewing and analyzing annual financial statements ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, program policies, and procedures
• One year of experience in analyzing information and making recommendations
• One year of experience in budget execution during a fiscal year budget cycle
• One year of experience in preparing and presenting a status of funds for higher-level management
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with superior Excel skills (V-look up, Pivot Tables, etc.)
• Excellent interpersonal skills
