Finance Manager Job at SMAL Sourcing
Company is seeking an experienced Senior Manager-Financial Planning & Analysis to join their team.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) for Richmond and USA sites. Duties will include coordination of company financial analysis, short and long term planning, project analysis, cost management, and budget management functions.
This position will work closely with all Company departments on a regular basis, including Operations, to analyze the business, identify, and recommend actions that support company objectives and improve financial results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial analysis, including product profitability, contract negotiations, supply chain analysis, & product investment decisions.
- Assist internal teams with any necessary analysis and information to respond to customer requests
- Direct and coordinate company financial planning and budget management functions. Suggest metrics and monitor for progress.
- Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget.
- Ensure Company results are properly stated in accordance with the applicable GAAP, namely IFRS US GAAP
- Assist in financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements. Ensure department readiness for annual audit by outside parties
- Ensure proper cost accounting is applied and analyzed
Preferred Education/Experience:
- Completion of a Master’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
- 10 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position
- CPA
Technical Skills Requirements:
- Financial analysis.
- SAP and consolidation accounting.
- Purchase accounting and M&A transactions.
- PowerPoint experience
