Responsibilities of the Industrial Air Compressor Service Technician include, but are not limited to:

  • Complete preventative maintenance on piston, rotary screw and oil-free compressors Change oil and oil filters, air filters, belts and solenoids
  • Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Replacing pressure switches, gauges, valves and air regulators
  • Maintain electrical systems and sensors
  • Install refrigerated or desiccant air dryers, after coolers and air tanks
  • Repair and maintain compressor pumps, vacuum pumps and motors

The right candidate will have a Valid California Drivers’ License (Use of Company Truck) -, be mechanically inclined, friendly, eager to learn and a team player.

  • Service trucks are specially assigned to each service technician. The service truck must be kept clean, organized, and inventoried. Must always practice safe driving.
  • Participation in safety meetings and safety training is required and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must always be worn.
  • Work directly with our customers, vendors, and co-workers to develop and sustain a positive relationship.

Qualifications of the Industrial Air compressor Service Technician include, but are not limited to:

  • 3+ years of mechanical service experience required (diesel mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic, aircraft mechanic, HVAC, etc.)
  • This requires head-on communication, written, telephone, and computer skills.
  • We will provide all training necessary to become a certified Ingersoll Rand Industrial Air Compressor Service Technician. Our Cisco Air Systems Service Technician Career Path Program involves four (4) levels: Certified, Advanced, Senior, and Master.

Additional Information:

  • Physical Demand: Lift up to 50lbs
  • Working Conditions: Shop environment- Requires working in hot (above 90 F degrees) or cold (below 32 F degrees) temperatures, includes exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable. Requires working in extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions. Requires working in cramped spaces and getting into awkward positions. Includes exposure to contaminants.
  • Training/Certifications: We will train
  • Shift Time: 7:30am-4:00pm 8+hour shift minimum and overtime available
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be COVID vaccinated and provide proof
  • Pass a drug test
