Field Service Tech

Pay Scale: $31 p/h, W2, no benefits

Duration: Full Time/Contract

Status: US Citizen or Green Card only

Reports To: Project Manager

Working Hours: Normal business hours

Work Location: Onsite, Customer Premises, Buffalo, NY 14221

Summary/Objective:

Glow Networks is a telecommunication staffing and consulting company based in Dallas, TX. We are seeking a Field Service Tech, to work in Buffalo, NY 14221 location.

Looking for a Field Service Tech in the Rochester, NY area. Coverage area would be Western NY. Candidate must have own transportation and be willing to travel to client sites in Western NY

Duties:

• Participating in training to gain knowledge and expertise on HP-Indigo digital presses technology
• Handle Customer-relation problems promptly and appropriately, provide guidance, escalate issues according to established procedures
• Provide mechanical and electrical support on-site
• Deliver complex high-tech mechanical services to large enterprise complex or corporate
• Deliver services to large enterprise, complex or corporate accounts
• Use proactive monitoring procedures/tools to identify problem prevention opportunities

Knowledge/Skills:

• Strong mechanical technical and communication kills and ability to improvise
• Strong Customer relationship skills & ability to manage complex Customer problems.
• Good teamwork with peers and HP personnel
• Demonstrate consistent, acceptable performance
• Schedule and participate in on-site account support meetings both internal and external
• Minimum Vocational/Diploma/ Associate Degree (technical field) with 3-5 years experience field) with 3-5 years experience
• Experience with support of full range of HP commercial and industrial large mass volume digital printers products
