Are you a skilled Field Service Engineer looking for a challenging and rewarding role? Do you have experience troubleshooting, programming, and replacing PLCs primarily in the Rockwell and Siemens platforms, as well as working with HMI screens in Rockwell FactoryTalk View, Wonderware InTouch, Ignition, or others?

As a Field Service Engineer, you will have the opportunity to help our customers with production issues, lines that go down, and any type of automation troubleshooting. You will also work with our team to install new project-based solutions. This role will require you to travel to customer sites on a daily basis, which may include overnight travel.

Your responsibilities will include performing field service tasks such as repair, installation, and maintenance, diagnosing machinery problems, resolving malfunctions or other crises when they arise, and overseeing repairs and technical improvements. Additionally, you will troubleshoot and repair HMI or SCADA screens and applications, troubleshoot, program, and install PLCs, including but not limited to Allen-Bradley and Siemens processors, troubleshoot and work with networking components, including but not limited to Ethernet/IP, ControlNet, and DeviceNet, and troubleshoot, calibrate, test, repair, and improve sensing, measurements, and actuation devices.

Requirements:

  • Technical Bachelor’s degree such as electrical engineering technology, electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer information technology, or a similar technical concentration.
  • Experience as a controls or automation engineer troubleshooting manufacturing lines in relation to the controls and automation space.
  • Experience troubleshooting, programming, and replacing PLCs primarily in the Rockwell and Siemens platforms.
  • Experience with HMI screens in Rockwell FactoryTalk View, Wonderware InTouch, Ignition or others.
  • Experience troubleshooting and working with networking components.
  • Experience troubleshooting and working with variable frequency drives (VFDs) and other devices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
