Essential Functions:
Sales/Brand Building Activities

  • Support local store advertising opportunities, sponsorships, and partnerships designed to increase traffic and awareness.
  • Assist with tracking and management of Street Team program.
  • Manage booking and tracking for Spirit Night fundraisers, working with partnered organization ensuring events are approved, tracked, and communicated.
  • Work cross-functionally with accounting department to fulfill check requests for Spirit Night events.
  • Review, approve and fulfill donation requests.
  • Develop and maintain trade area survey database.

Special Event Planning/Support

  • Identify community event opportunities and work in partnership with Area Supervisors to set up each event (event checklist, COI requests, Square payment setup, etc.).
  • Evaluate the success of each event and provide reports/recommendations for future participation.
  • Work with restaurants to set up special events (anniversary celebrations, live music, etc.).
  • Manage and track event equipment.
  • Work with Field Marketing Manager to develop and execute marketing plans for new restaurant openings.

In-store Branding/Materials Management

  • Submit creative requests for any store or event specific collateral needs.
  • Support roll-out of campaigns and system launches.
  • Work with Area Supervisors to ensure restaurant POP is properly displayed and company mandated marketing materials are in place and up to date.
  • Manage and audit online print portal to ensure marketing collateral available for restaurants to order is up to date.

Communication and Organization Responsibilities

  • Attend and participate in marketing department meetings/events.
  • Respond to e-mail and voicemail as necessary.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead people and get results through others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organization: Ability to assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and constantly changing demands and schedules.
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in the marketing of Tijuana Flats.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel etc.).
  • Ability to work as a strong team player in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of Tijuana Flats product, operational standards, and product presentation.

  • While performing duties of the job, employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands, arms, talk and hear. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to focus.
  • Travel: Will spend majority of time in the Restaurant Support Center, but may occasionally require traveling to respective stores, in some cases may require nights and weekends.

Work Environment:

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate when in office environment; however, site work will require exposure to varying weather conditions and increase exposure to noise and exposure to constriction sites requiring the usage of hard hats and other safety precautions. This position will require copious time in front of a computer screen.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
