We are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking, and passionate marketeer assistants to work at our booths at farmers' markets throughout the Bay Area over the weekends, particularly in the Campbell area. Enjoy the fun atmosphere of farmers' markets while interacting with awesome people and spreading your knowledge about probiotics and superfood health! No need to have a vehicle to lug the supplies.

The ideal employee has an interest in a healthy lifestyle and understands the impact that nourishing food has on helping people live better lives - physically, mentally, and spiritually. They excel at engaging with customers and connect customers with products that will help them on their wellness journey. They have great customer service skills, are detail oriented, communicate clearly, can take direction and effectively complete tasks, can work in a fast paced environment, can lift/drag up to 50 pounds, are friendly and personable….and have fun!

Participating markets include Santa Cruz, Los Gatos, Campbell, Mountain View, San Mateo, Alameda, Pleasanton, Walnut Creek, Danville, San Rafael, SF: Fort Mason, Inner Sunset, Outer Sunset, Ferry Building, Clement street, Divisadero, Fillmore, and more!

Duties and Responsibilities:

Farmers' market assistant: assist in setup, selling, cashiering, cleanup. We will train you in what you need to know, we just ask that you come with an open mind, a positive attitude, and a desire to connect with people!

Education and Experience:
- Some level of prior exposure to probiotics, healthy lifestyle and fermentation are recommended
- Prior farmers' market vending is desirable, but not necessary. Attitude and the ability to connect with customers and their needs are most important.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, carry and set up a 10x10 commercial-duty canopy (we will teach you), lift and lower full ice chests
- Basic math skills for retail, cash handling, use of ipad for shopify sales
- Attention to detail, capacity and curiosity to learn
- Valid CA driver's license or other identification card

After a successful phone interview and prior to hiring, the applicant will attend 1 full market to make sure the position is a good fit for all involved. This market day is considered part of the interview process and is paid with our products. We have no tolerance for no shows and tardiness. Please be able to work at least four days a month and with no last minute cancellations! We are flexible on which days you work and time off, as long as it's arranged ahead of time.
