Kent State University is seeking a candidate for a non-tenure track faculty position with experience in Critical Care Nursing for the BSN program at the Salem Campus.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach in a variety of settings including lecture, clinicals, simulation, and skills lab. A willingness to employ teaching modalities beyond in person lecture is required, and relevant prior experience will be welcomed.

Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing required and a Master’s in Nursing related field required as well as two to five years experience in Critical Care Nursing. A Ph.D is a plus. Candidate must hold a current valid nursing license in the State of Ohio. Previous teaching and /or clinical experience required.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
Light work-Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. Incumbent may be required to travel from building to building frequently and off campus occasionally.
