The Facilities Manager ensures the readiness of clinic facilities, building systems, and mechanical equipment and ensures the cleanliness and safety of all clinic facilities and grounds. The Facilities Manager responds to facility emergencies and timely responds to urgent facility issues identified within the clinics.

Essential Functions

  • Supervising facilities team
  • Ensure the soundness of all buildings and structures as well as assisting with the physical security of buildings, structures, assets, and personal security of patients, visitors, and staff
  • Provide for the cleanliness and safe condition of facilities, parking areas and grounds in order to ensure a healthful safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff at all Tri-Cities Community Health Facilities, grounds and parking areas
  • Ensure that equipment is maintained and working properly to include the performance and record keeping of regular maintenance and condition of equipment
  • Develops proposed policies, procedures, and guidelines for processes and equipment within scope of responsibility
  • Attends all required Training programs related to general safety, department/service, specific job-related hazards
  • Promotes effective working relations and works effectively as part of a department/unity team inter and intra departmentally to facilitate the departments/units ability to meet its goals and objectives
  • Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors, and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible and courteous environment

The duties herein describe the principal functions of the job, level of knowledge and skills typically required, scope of responsibility, work requirements, and working conditions, but are not all-inclusive. Individuals may perform other duties and TCCH reserves the right to modify, add, or remove duties and assign other duties as necessary, including work in other functional areas to cover absences or relief, to equalize work periods, or otherwise balance the workload.

Requirements:

Required Licenses/Certifications:

Valid Driver's license and proof of auto insurance

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • The demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems effectively.
  • The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficient skills in conflict resolution.
  • The ability to work with departments to achieve desired results on time and within budget.
  • Ability to create, revise, and implement policies and procedures.
  • Skills in the creation, revision, and implementation of Safety Communications programs.
  • The ability to remain calm and focused during stressful and demanding situations.
  • Proficient knowledge of engineering principles and operational mathematical skills.
  • The ability to locate, read, understand, and interpret regulatory standards affecting clinic operations.
  • The ability to review, adjust, and create budgets.
  • The ability to develop and organize a team atmosphere within the department and agency.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer programs.

$86,000 - $116,110

Suggested Starting Range - $86,000 - $101,050 (Depending on Qualifications)
