TO: All Teaching and Administrative Personnel Brockton Public SchoolsFROM: Dr. Kathleen Moran, Assistant Superintendent of Human ResourcesRE: Special Education: Extended School Year PositionsThe following summer positions are being advertised for Special Education Extended School Year Summer Programs, pending approval of the FY24 school department budget. DATES OF ESY PROGRAM: JULY 5-August 10LOCATION: Barrett-Russell, Brockton High School, and Plouffe Academy Planning meeting with all staff Time: TBDSPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHERS Number of teachers will be determined by enrollment. Preference will be given to teachers to with special education licensure and those who are current BPS special education teachers.
Please indicate if you would like to job share and your preferred weeks.SPECIAL EDUCATION SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS Number of substitutes will be determined based on job sharing, teacher vacations, absences, etc. Preference will be given to teachers with special education licensure and those who are current BPS special education teachers. Teachers up to (23) days up to 5 hrs/day at contract rateTeacher preparation and planning hours must be approved by Head Teacher. You must work hour before and after the program.All Teachers must have an updated CORI on file and may be required to complete the following duties: Lifting & ToiletingFunding: LocalCompensation: According to BEA ContractRefer any questions to Laurie Mason x7525
