Levander’s Automotive is seeking to hire an experienced and skilled Automotive Technician at our Grand Island location. Hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. Are you looking for a fast-paced job with a great working environment? Levander's is a robust collision repair facility with 10 locations in the state of Nebraska stretching from North Platte to Omaha. We are looking for someone who is eager and willing to be a team player. The ideal candidate will have an advanced background in repair, maintenance, and diagnostics; ASE certification preferred.
Job Duties:
- Diagnose and repair automotive issues, including engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, electrical and other systems
- Troubleshooting mechanical issues generally using computerized technology
- Perform routine vehicle preventative maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and maintenance needs
- Remove and replace worn or defective parts
- Keep a clean and organized work area
- Continuously improve technical skills and knowledge through training and professional development
