Expeditor Purchasing Admin Job at Industrial Threaded Products
ITP is a Sales organization. The Purchasing Department exists to support the sales, machine shop and packaging functions. They buy material to meet sales demand/operations.
This role is provide administrative support for processing work for our fabrication shop (Process Transactions/Production Orders/Transfers) and other related supporting activities.Expediting (75% of role)
Purchase Orders Process transactions Transfers.
Inbound material for active processes/production orders.
Communication (10% of role)
Scripting business appropriate email communications internally and externally
Using structured communications with Factories, Suppliers, Broker and ITP Purchasing Team, Sales, Accounting and Warehouse (written and verbal)
Excellent telephone manner (ability to confidently negotiate and expedite over the telephone) In person communication with other departments, accounts, sales and warehouse etc.
Purchasing Administration (10% of role)
Support the Buyers of the Purchasing department with entering of processes, production orders, transfers, and follow up of active work in process.
Processing manufacturing work in support of Waterworks, OEM, Construction and Structural requirements.
Actively learn products and gain product knowledge and convey product expertise outwardly Update and use P21 system (daily)
Other Administration (5% of role)
Maintain good relationship with ITP sales team / solving problems and issues upon receipt.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
