Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced food expeditor to join our team at Salt Steakhouse . As a food expeditor, you will be responsible for coordinating food orders between the kitchen and the dining area, ensuring that all orders are complete and accurate, and delivered to the right table in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
-Coordinate the flow of food orders between the kitchen and the dining area
-Ensure that all orders are complete and accurate before they are served to customers
-Ensure that all orders are delivered to the correct table in a timely manner
-Act as a liaison between the kitchen and the servers, relaying information about any delays or changes to orders
-Ensure that all dishes are garnished and visually appealing before they are served to customers
-Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
-At least 5 years of experience working as a food expeditor in a high-end restaurant or steakhouse
-Excellent communication and organizational skills
-The ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
-A passion for food and a commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience
-The ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Long Branch, NJ: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
