Chester County Dentistry for children in Lionville is looking for an EFDA or experienced dental assistant to join our amazing team!
Experience in Pedo is preferred, a patient and kind disposition is a must! Position duties include, greeting our patients, assisting the dentist, including sedation dentistry, sterilization and being a team player. We have a positive and fun environment, setting our patients up for a lifetime of loving the dentist!
Responsibilities:
- Strive to provide the best patient experience
- Polish/prophy teeth
- Provide assistants with documentation and the upkeep of records
- Listen, empathize, and address all patient concerns
- Provide clear communication and education on treatment plans and maintaining oral health
- Oversee operatory set-up and clean-up including sterilization process
- Take radiographs/x-rays
- Support all Front Desk Staff and Office Managers as needed
Qualifications:
- Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Certificate
- CRP Certification
- Radiography/x-ray certification
- Well versed in dental terminology and procedures
- Maintains a positive, collaborative, and supportive disposition with team and patients.
- Maintain compliance with state dental practice requirements (i.e., X-ray requirements, OSHA, and CE training).
- Understands and complies with HIPAA and HITECH Act of 2009

- 9-hour shift / 4-day work weeks
