We are seeking and entrepreneurial-minded leader to be the next Executive Director at Lo-Har Senior Living in El Cajon, CA. The Executive Director is responsible for leading the operations of this independent living, assisted living, and memory care campus. They are responsible for working with their leadership team to establish high standards of care and to created a warm and positive environment for our employees and residents. A successful Executive Director will focus on building strong relationships, gaining trust, and demonstrating true "servant leadership" with all stakeholders.

What are some things you will do?

  • Responsible for the overall financial operations of the assisted living facility.
  • Take action, make decisions and shape team priorities to achieve agency operational goals.
  • Ensure effective and on-going, on-the-job training of team members, evaluate, record individual and team performance, provide coaching and counseling and make appropriate developmental recommendations.
  • Establish criteria and/or work procedures to achieve a high level of quality, productivity or service.
  • Partner with Marketer to develop approaches that best position services or ideas in the marketplace.
  • Partner with Leadership Team to develop and implement comprehensive business development plans.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and regulatory requirements through activities such as participating in State Associations and reviewing industry publications.

What do you need to bring to the table?

  • Bachelor's degree in operations management, business administration, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in an operations management position required
  • Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of community operations and customer service
  • Highly trained in conflict management and business negotiation processes preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
