Greenlake Senior Living in Gig Harbor is seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Director for one of our communities. Annual profit-sharing opportunities may exceed $30,000 per year in addition to base salary.

We are looking for an experienced Executive Director to oversee all operations, functions, and activities. You will be the face of the organization, responsible for giving the proper strategic direction and implementing a high-quality vision. An excellent Executive Director is an influential manager with the ability to lead and motivate. They have great communication skills and take a holistic approach to managing the organization’s operations. The goal is to manage and lead the organization towards the realization of its mission.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the sales and revenue cycle for the community.
  • Operate the Community in a manner that will ensure company profitability by exceeding all community budget and census guidelines as set by the company. Follow and adhere to the budget in all situations. Monitor staffing hours and overtime daily to detect problems early and to avoid utilizing temporary staffing. Community has dedicated nurse oversight as well as a staffing coordinator to assist.
  • Recruit, hire, train, discipline, and supervise staff in all departments.
  • Ensure positive resident, family, and employee relations by responding promptly and appropriately to their needs, requests, concerns, and suggestions.
  • Ensure activities programs will enrich the resident’s social and physical needs as well as increase their community involvement.
  • Develop and maintain systems that will effectively monitor Community operations including, but not limited to, occupancy rate, income and expenses, supply and capital asset inventories, resident and staff satisfaction (i.e., suggestion boxes, surveys), family nights, monthly staff meetings, and weekly department meetings.
  • Routinely monitor the kitchen sanitation, meal quality, quality and appearance of service and staff, cleanliness of resident apartments, and resident satisfaction.

Skills

  • Proven experience as Executive Director or in other managerial positions in senior living.
  • Experience in developing strategies and plans
  • Proven ability to apply successful sales strategy and closing techniques
  • Strong understanding of customer service and closing the proverbial backdoor.
  • An analytical mind capable of “out-of-the-box” thinking to solve problems
  • Outstanding organization and leadership abilities
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and public speaking skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Executive Director: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Assisted Living or Memory Care: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Washington Administrator Certification (Preferred)
