PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cleans and polishes marble using proper techniques and equipment.
• Dust tops of slot machines, chandeliers, ceiling vents, facades, and wall decorations using proper equipment and safety procedures.
• Operate ride-on sweepers, ride-on vacuum, ride-on extractors, and other related machinery to complete assigned tasks.
• Scrubs and extracts carpets using proper techniques and equipment.
• Scrubs, strips, and waxes floors using proper techniques and equipment.
• Operates hand trucks and flatbed carts to move equipment to assigned work areas.
• Use proper techniques and equipment when moving heavy furniture to clean the area underneath.
• Properly uses and disposes of chemicals when conducting area cleaning.
• Maintains equipment and supplies in an orderly manner in accordance with instructions.
• Performs dusting, mopping, and pan sweeping as necessary.
• Maintain the highest cleanliness standards of the property.
• Sweeps around slot areas and cleans slot machines, chairs, ashtrays, slot stands, walls, pillars, storage boxes, and outside of change booths.
• Ability to drive a golf cart throughout the exterior of property and garage areas.
• Cleans restrooms including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning urinals and toilets, wiping down walls and mirrors carpets with proper chemicals, and vacuuming.
• Maintains equipment and supplies in an orderly manner as instructed by Supervisor.
• Dust mops and wet mops marble floors.
• Vacuums walkway carpets.
• Sweeps sidewalks, driveways and replaces full trash bags with clean bags.
• Vacuums carpets, dusts shelves and cabinets, wipes down walls, baseboards, and cleans windows and mirrors.
• Removes trash from assigned areas.
• Reports maintenance needs to the Supervisor.
• Reports emergency repairs or situations to Supervisor and/or Security immediately.
• Reports any suspicious activity.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to work safely, including understanding and following company safety policies and procedures, completing work in a safe manner, caring about safety of self and others, responding appropriately in an emergency, and reporting unsafe conditions; this also includes being aware of unsafe conditions such as spills, wet areas, debris, and addressing quickly and efficiently
• Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
• Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 6 months of experience as a Specialist/Utility Porter, and/or equivalent training.
• Working knowledge of, and experience with professional floor care equipment (buffer, extractor, high lift, etc.),
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state issued driver’s license.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Working knowledge of basic cleaning chemicals and equipment

• Familiarity with upholstery cleaning machine, wet and dry vacuums
• A highly motivated and energetic personality
• Must have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts (internal and external)
• Must maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards
• Has ability to take initiative and exhibit flexibility

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Work indoors and outdoors and be exposed to environmental factors such as excessive noise, seasonal heat and cold, hard to reach and unclean work areas, cigarette smoke, and hazardous materials and equipment.
• Ability to withstand prolonged walking, standing, bending, pushing, climbing and kneeling.
