We have an exciting opportunity in our Northern CA region with our award-winning construction division. Our construction division has built a myriad of high-profile projects in California, ranging from high rises in San Francisco, tech campuses in Silicon Valley, theme parks, sporting facilities and shopping districts.

Essential Functions of Position:

• Create and foster successful business relationships with clients
• Research and understand market players
• Experience bidding complex and large-scale projects including podium and rooftop work
• Sign and adhere to Non-Disclosure Agreements on confidential projects
• Build cost estimates in bid and budget environments
• Attend pre-bid and post scope review meetings with clients
• Provide risk assessment and suggestions to alleviate risk exposure in projects
• Review and contribute to value added pricing opportunities
• Complete proposals and bid packages per predefined strategy
• Accountable for complete project estimate
• Accountable for converting bids into contracts through successful client negotiations

• Professional demeanor with staff and clients
• Must foster a positive and collaborative team environment
• Ability to prioritize workload in high volume market
• Ability to manage multiple project assignments concurrently
• Must be detail oriented and highly organized
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating and sales
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software programs
• Preferred experience working with estimating software platforms, including On-Screen Takeoff & Bid2Win
• Demonstrate proven track record of bid to contract conversions

Please note that the salary information shown below is provided in compliance with state specific laws. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations, and therefore may be different in other locations or operating divisions.

Pay range: $90,000 - $110,000
