POSITION SUMMARY:
The Housekeeper is responsible for keeping the Hospital Environment clean and neat.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position is responsible for the day-to-day cleaning of the Hospital, including dry/wet mopping, replacing curtains/drapes, buffing floors, cleaning carpets, cleaning of patient room and offices, collection of regular and Medical waste.
Experience required:
2 years as a Housekeeper/Cleaner in a Healthcare setting is preferred, but not required
Special skills:
Ability to differentiate colors, able to mix chemicals properly following manufactures recommendations, able to wear a Respiratory fit mask when cleaning isolation rooms.
