ABOUT THE POSITION
VHB’s South Burlington, VT office is seeking an Entry-Level Transportation Engineer to join the Transportation Engineering team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help grow our practice in northern New England with the support and resources of an established transportation firm.

Responsibilities
- Perform conceptual/final design of complete streets, roadway, shared-use path, and sidewalk projects
- Perform field reconnaissance and collect information
- Develop transportation scoping studies and alternatives analyses
- Perform engineering calculations
- Assist with drafting of project details and plans using MicroStation
- Develop quantity and construction cost estimates
- Develop contract documents and specifications

- Eager to learn and take on technical challenges
Qualifications
- BS in Civil Engineering
- 0-1 year of experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- MicroStation or AutoCAD experience is a plus
- EIT preferred
