Reproductive Medicine Associates - RMA San Francisco, CA 94105

$110,000 a year

RMA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team in San Francisco, CA. This position is full-time, Monday to Friday from 8am-4pm, occasional weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to physicians’ effectiveness by identifying patient care issues; provide information and commentary pertinent to patient care plan; recommend possible options and courses of action as appropriate; implement physician directives
  • Coordinate care for assigned patients following the required RMA protocols and procedures, including the appropriate workflow chart processes and performance benchmarks
  • Document patient care services in EMR system
  • Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients; comfort patients by anticipating their anxieties and answering questions and concerns
  • Resolve patient problems and concerns by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies
  • Patient education in regards to treatment plan and medications through e-learning and other patient education available
  • Follow up with patients regarding laboratory values and semen analysis results
  • Assist physician with in-office procedures as needed
  • Maintain a cooperative and productive working relationship intra-departmentally as well as inter-departmentally

Requirements:

  • 3-5 Year's experience as an RN preferred. New graduates will be considered.
  • BSN or MSN Degree required; active RN license without limitations required
  • Prior experience in women’s healthcare preferred
  • BLS and ACLS required
  • High energy, excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skills, and demonstrated self-directed work ethic are required.
  • Excellent listening/counseling/interpersonal, and communications skills required to manage sensitive patient situation properly
  • Resourceful and well organized; committed to detail and follow-up
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate good judgment and remain composed under stress
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office; prior EMR experience preferred
  • Must be available for weekend rotation and some holidays
