ABC Coke is the largest merchant producer of foundry coke in the United States. Typical product characteristics are 91.50% fixed carbon, 8.0% ash, 0.50% volatile matter and 0.64% Sulphur. ABC operates 132 ovens with an annual capacity of 730,000 tons of saleable coke.

Entry Level Labor Starting Pay: $20.48/hr.
- Work environment: Extremely HOT conditions
- Very physical demanding-Constant walking, standing, balancing, lifting up 135lbs, pulling and pushing weight up to 125lbs of force., ability to work with hand tools up to 25lbs. in weight,
- Very safety conscience
Days/Hours: ABC Coke Operates 24/7….You will initially be placed on a 90-shift probationary period and trained on a number of jobs. you will be placed on any shift and there is no guarantee you will have weekends off. You are subject to any 2 days off.
Benefits: Medical, Dental, 401K, Pension, Wellness Program (nurse on site). Medical & Dental cost $102.60 monthly* (regardless of single or family size).* As of January 2018
Requirements: Valid Driver License, second form of ID, Proof of Education (High School or GED-it will be verified)
You will be required to complete the following: Criminal Background Check, Drug Screenings, Physical Abilities Exam (PAE) and Final Physical.
