Our Acoustics Practice, part of the Roadway Transportation Planning Business Line, is currently looking for an entry-level CADD Technician in our Camp Hill, PA office. Come join our team! What You Will Do
Our Acoustics Practice, part of the Roadway Transportation Planning Business Line, is currently looking for an entry-level CADD Technician in our Camp Hill, PA office. Come join our team! You will join a thriving engineering services support team enabling Gannett Fleming’s internal highway noise modeling team consulting for a wide range of public and private sector clients.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assists design team in creating plans from concept through final construction drawings
- Creates base drawings using survey information and CADD program(s)
- Verifies accuracy of drawings
- Plots/prints plans, reports, and presentation materials
- Maintains project libraries and CADD standards
- Conduct noise measurement field work as part of the team
- Developing transportation noise models using FHWA Traffic Noise Model (TNM)
- Performs general administrative assistance by maintaining project plans
- Develops project and presentation graphics
Minimum Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Computer Drafting and Design from an accredited college or technical school required, a four year degree in similar field is a plus
- Experience and thorough demonstrable knowledge of either MicroStation or AutoCAD or GIS
- Site/Civil Engineering related experience is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
- 0-2 years of experience preferred.
