Your role as a team member of the Discovery team will involve developing groundbreaking financing solutions that utilize technology to create innovative and efficient ways of financing for our customers. You will work alongside a highly skilled and professional team with expertise in both financing and technology to design and implement solutions that address the evolving needs of our customer. Additionally, you will help with vendor selection, building relationships, and collaborating with them to ensure successful delivery of solutions.

You'll have...

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, relevant area of study, or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years software engineering experience in web, mobile, api, or full-stack development

Even better, you may have...

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering
• 6+ years of experience managing software engineering teams and 7+ years of experience in a web focused software engineering role
• Experience in managing remote engineering teams
• Demonstrated experience in eXtreme Programming (XP) disciplines including Paired programming, Test-first/test-driven development (TDD)
• Demonstrated experience with software operations (Source Management, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Observability, Support, and maintenance)
• Experience creating evolutionary architectures which support reactive, distributed, secure, performant, service-oriented systems
• Strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to influence the enterprise
• Experience with some of the technologies in use by the team: Javascript / TypeScript, NodeJS, VueJS, GraphQL, Apollo Server, MongoDB, SQL Server,

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with expertise in the Financing domain to join our team. As a Full Stack Senior Software Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain software solutions that cater to our customer's requirements. Your tasks will involve working on diverse projects, including creating new applications and improving existing systems. To accomplish this, you will collaborate with vendor, cross-functional teams such as product management, design, and quality assurance to guarantee the delivery of top-notch software solutions.

• Apply advanced concepts, theories, and principles to create multi-disciplinary innovations and solutions for the most complex or risky business situations.
• Actively participate in reviewing, evaluating, and providing feedback on product designs and architectures with an engineering focus.
• Actively seek to improve the engineering delivery pipeline reducing cycle time and increasing quality and security posture.
• Guide engineering and product teams on Site Reliability Engineering practices to meet service level objectives.
• Develop and socialize new engineering principles and practices fit for purpose for the organization.
• Evaluate and recommend new and emerging products and technologies.
• Provide thought leadership and perspective across multiple organizations to eliminate knowledge silos.
• Drive continuous improvement and create a learning organization.
