Timberland Bank is seeking an Electronic Banking Specialist to support the Bank’s electronic (i.e. ACH, Debit Card, etc), internet banking services (i.e. online banking, bill pay, etc.), and all other Payments Center functions on an as needed basis at our Riverside location.

Rate of Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist customers with online banking, bill payment, and debit card services.
  • Performs data entry and file maintenance to deposit accounts.
  • Corresponds to e-mail inquiries, comments, and concerns from customers.
  • Monitors, audits and maintains e-banking services.
  • Provides branch support services for Payments Center operations.
  • Assists in research regarding debit card transactions and fraud trends.
  • Processes debit card fraud and merchant disputes while adhering to regulatory guidelines.
  • Posts transactions to appropriate general ledger account(s); performs charge back transactions.
  • Provides input to management regarding e-banking policies and procedures to insure compliance with regulatory agencies.
  • Assists customers & staff with Mobile Banking and Mobile Remote Deposit.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • Minimum of 1 year banking experience in operations, accounting, data systems, electronic banking, or any combination thereof.
  • Extensive knowledge of Timberland Bank products and services with emphasis on electronic products and services.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, verbal, written, technical & computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member while using discretion in decision making and sound judgment in problem solving.

Other Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate on a telephone.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write.
  • Ability to lift up to 20lbs overhead (on occasion, as required)
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to type.
