Job Opening Summary

Performs neurodiagnostic procedures under the supervision of the director, lead technologist and staff physicians. As advanced competencies are completed, the technician may perform more advanced procedures (neonatal EEG, EP, ICU-LTM, GRIDS, WADA, NCV, EMG). This position trains to become a technologist in all aspects of neurodiagnostic procedures. Technicians hired into this position must complete the registry process of ABRET's R.EEG T. within 18 months of hire, if the credential was not already held.

Job Opening Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school graduate.
  • Two to four years of college preferred but not required.
  • Graduation from a CAHEEP-approved ENT training program highly desirable.
  • If candidate does not have college education, then on-the-job position at a large hospital with demonstrated competencies may be considered as substitute for END program.
  • Candidate must have at least one of the four END modality registries to be considered (REEGT, REPT, RNCST, RPSGT).
  • CLTM and/or CNIM are highly desirable.
  • Ideal candidate must be highly self-motivated and able to work alone without direction.
  • Candidate must also be capable of assuming a leadership role when required.
  • C-LTM monitoring will be required to be obtained within 18 months after hire in order to maintain position for EMU work.


Licensure/Certification/Registration:

  • Health care provider BLS (American Heart, American Red Cross).

Please indicate the appropriate operator designation on the Request for Personnel (RFP) form at the time a RFP is submitted to post the position.
