Job Opening Summary
Work closely with Neurologists performing a wide variety of nerve conduction studies and assisting the neurologist with the EMG procedure, as well as performing evoked potential studies when requested.
Job Opening Qualifications
Required Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Specific course work:
Evoked Potentials: Visual, Brainstem Auditory and Somato-sensory Evoked Potential training
Preferred Education:
Completion of 1 year of college or university with emphasis on physical or biological sciences or High School graduate with emphasis on physical or biological sciences
Necessary Skills:
Strong analytical skills, capacity to work with and effectively communicate with acute and chronically ill patients and the circumstances that surround these patients
Required Licensure/Certifications:
R.NCS T. or C.NCST. or registry eligible
Required Experience:
1-2 years experience in all NCS modalities
Preferred Experience:
2-3 years experience in all NCS modalities
