Operating Company is looking for Electrical Industrial Technician to join their highly skilled team at the Douglasville Pa facility. You will be the face of a very reputable organization as you, build, repair, upgrade their equipment, primarily overhead crane systems. Drug screen and background check is mandatory prior to hire and may be subject to random screening.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform documented safety inspections of specific types of equipment in keeping with OSHA guidelines.
  • Troubleshooting, repairing, building, installing, and modifying overhead crane systems. This is primarily a plant-based assignment.
  • Able to wire cranes and read blueprints, wiring new cranes while troubleshooting build issues.
  • Work independently, or as part of a crew, to diagnose electrical and mechanical problems with equipment in heavy industrial manufacturing facilities if needed (limited role).
  • Identify needed parts, repair procedures, communicate with the customer, interface with our engineering department, and perform the build.
  • Responsible for documentation of hours, services performed, writing service acknowledgements, and working with computers.
  • Motor control experience on systems with AC or DC power is necessary.

Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • At least 3 years in an industrial environment or similar Military Experience.
  • Skills and experience in welding, electrical and mechanical maintenance
  • Experience as an ironworker, millwright or facilities maintenance is preferred
  • Team approach to problem solving
  • Computer literate; Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Must be eligible to work and free of any non-competition agreements.
  • Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.
  • Ability to interface with internal and external customers
  • Travel Required (limited)
  • Ability to work inside, outside in all types of weather, and work from heights
