Electrical Assembly Technician III Job at Daikin Applied
Summary:Independently fabricate, assemble, and install electrical wiring components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications. Lead project assignments including the mentorship, guidance, and skill development of less experienced electrical technicians.
Facility Hours are Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM-3:30 PM (4 x 10 hrs/day). Possible overtime on Fridays.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Terminate wiring as part of installing a single-phase and three-phase components.
- Work in other areas of production (plumbing, welding, etc.) in the assembly of products as needed.
- Use, control, report and manage material usage per the area's inventory control policies and procedures.
- Offer guidance and mentorship to less experienced electrical assembly technicians.
- Fully execute all Level I primary responsibilities.
- Assemble electrical components in accordance with engineering drawings.
- Locate and install electrical components in accordance with engineering drawings.
- Bend and install conduit/gutter and electrical accessories in accordance with engineering drawings.
- Make suggestions to improve efficiency, teamwork, and product quality.
Education and requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2 year/Associates Degree in Electronics, HVAC or Construction preferred
- Minimum 6 years progressive electrical assembly experience.
