Benesch is proud to announce the opening for an eBilling Specialist in our Cleveland office.


Position Summary:

The eBilling Specialist processes the flow of computerized billing from inception to final product to include narrative edits and transfers, unbilled write-offs, and distribution of month-end prebills and reports for specific timekeepers in an accurate and timely manner.


Essential Functions:

1. Understanding of start to finish billing process and procedures

2. Understanding of multiple ebilling sites and requirements

3. Monitor Billblast/ebilling systems for submissions and rejections.

4. Work with billing and collections team to solve ebilling issues.

5. Communicates properly and promptly with BFCA personnel and external contacts at all times and must exhibit a high level of customer service at all times.

6. Process / follow up appeals as needed

7. Review invoices for OCG requirements

8. Ability to enter rates/accruals into different systems

9. Ability to problem solve and critically think

10. Ability to work alone and also in a team setting.


Additional Responsibilities:

1. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
:

The Legal Billing Specialist must have a High School Diploma and a minimum of three years of relevant client billing experience. A typing speed of 60 WPM and 10-key machine by touch are required. Must be proficient in Excel and Word as well as have an understanding of Einvoicing systems. Aderant/BillBlast experience is preferred. Must possess an excellent customer service attitude. Flexibility to work overtime as necessary.
