Job Description:
The main purpose of this role is to work as part of the regional parts team to promote and support spare parts business in North America. In order to strengthen business relations and increase market share, the successful candidate will be expected to spend time both traveling to visit the Dealer network and office based.
Responsibilities:
  • Support dealers in understanding spare parts support processes and support systems available, e.g. eCommerce parts manuals and ordering, Digital Solutions offerings, etc.
  • Assist dealers in calculating potential spare parts based upon dealers’ historical machine population and rental fleet.
  • Prepare parts quotations.
  • Assist in meeting annual Budget Plans and sales targets.
  • Understand the issues for dealers not exploiting parts sales potential and assist with a plan of action, for example parts catalogue, parts availability, speed of delivery, reliability of delivery.
  • Work with dealers to educate them on the benefits of holding inventory, e.g. improved parts availability to end customer which in turn generates customer purchase loyalty, increased profit levels and reduced carriage costs.
  • Collect market pricing information for spare parts and present to pricing team.
  • Monitor sales order backlogs to ensure dealer expectations are met.
  • Promote and support new Product Management programs.
  • Provide a monthly management report listing visits and risks/opportunities.
  • Effectively promote parts programs to drive global awareness to our dealers.
Basic Qualifications:
  • GED or Diploma
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and organized with an attention to details.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with a small audience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A college degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and two years of demonstrated professional experience may be substituted.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be high energy and motivated to do what is required to meet business deadlines and goals.
  • Ability to work across functional areas and levels of management.
  • Effective verbal and listening communication skills.
  • The individual must maintain strict confidentiality in performing the duties of the sales, marketing and office information.
  • Ability to develop a working knowledge of Company products, goods and materials purchased by the Company.

Skills and Experience:
  • Demonstrate the ability to define, implement and maintain action plans.
  • Demonstrate high level of analytical ability with proficient knowledge of MS Office packages.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build solid working relationships within the company and throughout our North American dealer network.
  • Ability to negotiate.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Communication and collaboration skills with the ability to develop relationships across levels, geographies and segments.
Travel:
  • Willingness and ability to travel – up to 50%.
  • Valid passport for travel overseas
  • Valid driver’s license
The salary range for this position is $48,500 to $60,000.
