JOB SUMMARY ShopGoodwill.com was the first non-profit e-commerce auction website, developed back in 1999. With over 52 individual Goodwill districts participating in the website, this allows Goodwill’s from all over the country to gain support their programs in order to help their local communities. Our Shopgoodwill dept. sorts through collectables, high end clothing, and more; photos and lists the items for sale online using our Shopgoodwill platform. In turn making these items available to customers from all over the country. They then ship and provide customer service and claims resolution.

The role of this position will require an individual to be a main focal point for all onsite operations while supporting dept. needs. This person is a liaison to resolve supply issues and ensures the quality of inventory being listed online, and providing customer support.

The Listing Clerk will assist in photography and shipping as well as their assigned duties. Expectations for this opening are to provide quality listings by utilizing Google/Bing/Yahoo and any other search engine to accurately post items online.

Requirements and Expectations:

· Posting / Listing determined number of items per day. Daily goal will be given upon hire.

· Answers Customer Emails in a timely manner, providing more information on the item if needed.

· List the item on the site in accordance with posting guidelines.

· Misspelled words must be kept to a minimum.

· Proper and appropriate grammar must be used with every post.

· Measurements of items must be accurate and detailed

· Must use time wisely to meet the listing benchmarks.

· Must have great time management skills.

· Perform other duties as assigned by Shop Goodwill Manager.

· Maintain work area by keeping it clean and free of debris at all times. Work areas must be maintained according to the posted schematics. “Stashes” of merchandise are expressly prohibited. The only time an employee may shop, or make a purchase is when the employee does not work in their store that day. They may however, shop at any other store location at any other time. Shopping and/or making a purchase is permitted on the sales floor only and is strictly prohibited in the production room.

· Report any unauthorized shopping, purchasing or “stashing” of merchandise or requests of the aforementioned immediately to your supervisor. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action.

· Must have knowledge or experience locating items online via Search Engines that may be difficult to determine the purpose/intended function or describe.

· Prior knowledge or interest in collectables/antiques is a plus

· Must maintain their inventory shelves, ensuring no items are on the floor/falling off shelves/and are easily locatable with item tag on the item (without adhering the sticker to the item itself.)

· Attend meetings and training programs as directed.

· Perform any and all duties deemed necessary by the Agency.

OCCASIONAL DUTIES OR SPECIAL ASSIGNMENTS:

· Must work flexible hours and weekends. Travel for meeting and training as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:Education and Experience:

1. High School Diploma

2. Basic Computer Knowledge

3. Good Organizational Skills

4. Heavy Typing

5. Customer Service Skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $11.00 per hour
