Dynamometer Technician Job at LER TechForce
LER TechForce is looking for a Chassis Dynamometer Technician to work in Auburn Hills.
We are seeking a Chassis Dynamometer Operator for a new Vehicle Development Center. The right candidate will be involved with vehicle level benchmarking, instrumented vehicle testing and vehicle level engine calibration inside a state-of-the-art 4WD emissions chassis dynamometer.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibilities will include setting-up and conducting tests on advanced chassis dynamometer system for certification and development projects
- Preventive maintenance of equipment
- Maintaining quality assurance procedures
Qualifications and skills:
- Systems knowledge: PC based applications including Microsoft Office
- Mechanical or Electrical experience required
- Fabrication experience a plus
- Emissions experience a plus
- Combustion experience a plus
- Engine testing experience a plus
- Chassis dynamometer experience
- Horiba testing equipment experience a plus
- Enthusiastic attitude and a desire to succeed are essential
- Effective organizational skills and team working ability desired
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
