Now Hiring: Full-Time Driver

Responsibilities:

• Operates the center vehicle in a safe manner at all times. Obeying all laws of the road
• Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel, as well as other departments within the facility to ensure that services and activities can be adequately maintained to meet the needs of the residents
• Assist nursing and rehabilitation personnel with transfers to and from vehicle
• Follows proper procedures for hygiene/infection control, including but not limited to hand washing, Personal protective equipment usage, universal precautions, etc
• Assists in cleaning up facility vehicle after transports
• Uses appropriate vehicle lifting devices to ensure resident and staff safety
• Reports incidents or suspected incidents or resident abuse to the DON/Designee’s immediately
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred.
• Effectively communicates with others.
• Must be in good physical and mental health

License:

• Valid, unencumbered state driver’s license.
