Dog Daycare Technician | Arlington Heights Job at Tailchasers
Tailchasers Arlington Pet Resort is looking for a reliable, attentive, and enthusiastic dog daycare technician to join our team!
**This is a part-time position (25 hours or less)**
Shift Structure + Compensation
- Monday - Friday | 6:15a - 12:30p or 12:20p - 6:30p
- $15 hourly
- NO WEEKENDS
Position Overview
Our technicians have the awesome pleasure of managing and overseeing groups of pups at play. Technicians have the ultimate responsibility to ensure all pups are playing safely, and capture photos and videos of the pups having fun. Additionally, technicians have the duty of working with each pup for 8-10 minutes on the command of the day, which are basic obedience commands such as: sit, stay, wait, etc.

Responsibilities
- Overseeing facility dog playgroups
- Facility cleanliness (in play and potty areas)
- Baths/spa services
- Management of agility and enrichment activities
- In-person engagement with clients visiting our facility
- Using a tablet to capture photos and videos of dogs.
Requirements
- US citizen or legally authorized to work in the US
- Able to pass a background check
- Able to commit to this position for 6 months from the date of hire
- Ability to communicate with customers in a friendly manner
- Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
- Basic knowledge of computer/tablet functions
- 18 years of age or older
- Must be teachable & flexible
