POSITION: Dock/Purchasing Assistant

HOURS: Full-Time Position

The Dock/Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for managing, receiving, sorting and delivering palletized stock daily. Also, assisting the management and purchasing of materials and equipment for the hospital use including: calling in orders, receiving and sorting orders, managing the correct par levels in all stock areas, putting invoices and receiving reports together for final approval by Materials Manager, and assisting with collecting data for process improvement.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

· Maintain a clean and organized dock work space, operating pallet jack and electric stacker.

· Purchase order entry, receiving and invoicing.

· Lifting, sorting, and delivering supplies.

· Inventory control hospital wide.

· Proficient in Excel.

· Good with time management, multitasking, and prioritizing.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduate from High School or equivalent.

Experience: Will provide on-the-job-training, however prefer previous experience.
