Ululani's Hawaiian Shave Ice is looking for a results-oriented candidate with excellent interpersonal skills for the position of District Manager Westside Shave Ice Shops.

Shave Ice Shops: Lahaina (2 stores - Banyan 626 Front St / Market Place 710 Front St.), 200 Nohea Dr., Kaanapali (Hyatt) Maui, Hawaii.

Through effective and consistent supervision and mentorship of shop associates and oversight of guest services. Works closely with Shop Associates and Managers to obtain optimum sales performance, brand recognition, and profitability. Supervise personnel in accordance with company policies and federal and state regulations.

District Manager Responsibilities:

- Interact, direct, and supervise team members daily.

- Interview, hire, and train new team members.

- Work a flexible schedule including some weekends and holidays.

- Willing to work some counter service shifts if the circumstances require it.

- Travel between shops to manage and support staff.

- Ensure company procedures are followed.

- Work with the leadership team to innovate and continually improve our guest experience.

- Maintains weekly staff work schedules.

- Conducts inventory counts and maintains proper inventory levels at each shop.

- Works with the accounting staff to update and maintain the POS systems.

- Help create a positive work environment and an exceptional guest experience.

- Work with the finance department to develop, implement, and monitor shop budgets.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Live on Maui, and or have plans to relocate to Maui preferably in the next 30 days. Immediately hiring for open position.

- An appreciation of the Hawaiian culture.

- Min 5 years’ experience in management in a high-volume food & beverage operation preferred.

- Closely related management experience in retail sales or customer service may substitute.

- A college Degree in business management or related field.

- Quantitative aptitude and experience managing budgets.

- Transportation to travel between shops and management staff meetings. Our corporate office is located at 300 Hukilike Street, Building 2, Unit I | Kahului, Hawaii 96732.

- Able to lift 50 to 60 lbs. to waist level.

- Excellent time management and organizational skills.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication.

- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.

- Proficient in MS Office software.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software (a plus).

- Open all Holidays at Hyatt, Kaanapali. All other locations are closed on Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

- 8-10/hr daily shifts.
