Distribution Shift Manager (2nd SHIFT)

Job Description

Position Overview:

The Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing the activities associated with warehouse operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the supervision of order selection, product replenishment, order loading, ensuring safety and security of the warehouse and providing management and direction to assigned warehouse staff order processing, and talent leadership.

Job Functions:

• Effective, prompt communication with management and co-workers.
• Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedures and policies.
• Odoo order processing, reporting and reconciliations.

• As a department leader, you will ensure daily production goals are met and SOPs and safety procedures are followed.
• Manage a team of 10 to 15.
• Ability to work with all levels of staff cross-functionally.
• Review daily attendance and allocate staff effectively to complete expected throughput.
• Ensure successful team performance by tracking and reporting department production hourly.

• Provide detailed recap of end-of-shift performance to upper management.
• Ability to provide on the spot coaching to employees.
• Excellent verbal and problem-solving skills, along with leadership qualities.

• Ability to lead and motivate a team.

• This role reports to the Distribution Manager.
• Manage daily KPI’s, Quality Metrics, employee timecard exceptions & productivity administration is completed accurately and on time.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience managing picking and packing floor.
• Excellent command of the English language and a well-developed understanding of grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Highly motivated and driven to succeed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
• ERP software experience
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

• Forklift Certification

Schedule:

• In office/on-site open Monday-Friday 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM (Midnight)
• Work revolves around objectives, projects, and priorities- not hours; must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
