Job Description
To assist in the picking/packing of finished goods and the loading unloading and storage of both finished goods and raw materials.
Job Duties
- Pick and pack goods to ensure that they correspond with the pick- ticket received and that the order is in accordance with customer guidelines.
- Store goods in appropriate section of warehouse as directed.
Utilize Tier 2 equipment for the purpose of loading and unloading goods to putaway and replenish goods and to pick and pack goods. (Tier 2 equipment-Dock Truck and Electric Pallet Jack.).
Accurately process various transactions utilizing warehouse management systems as necessary.
Monitor product quality and report any problems to Team Leader/Supervisor/Manager.
Maintain an acceptable level of productivity and maintain an accurate log of activity. # Adhere to all policies and procedures.
Observe all health safety and hygiene rules.
Maintain a clean working environment.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Related work experience in warehousing and distribution required.
Able to work Overtime as needed in order to support the business needs.
The ability to lift 50 lbs.
PREFFERED QUALIFICATION:
- Basic Math Skills.
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
Able to work Overtime as needed in order to support the business needs.
Experienced in the operation of Tier 2 warehousing equipment preferred. (Tier 2 equipment-Dock Truck and Electric Pallet Jack.).
The ability to learn to operate Tier 2 equipment. (Tier 2 equipment-Dock Truck and Electric Pallet Jack.)
